Gatsby's Sacramento review and MY beet slider

With a green goddess dressing made with grape seed veganaisse and sour cream and topped with spinach and goat cheese.

Sorry Gatsby in Sacramento. The day we went , the beet slider had no flavor and the eggplant sandwich was like eating salted cardboard. However, we loved your homemade chips and fries.

The manager with the glasses was RUDE and we almost turned back and walked out. The only reason we decided to sit and eat was because a. you're local, 2. you were featured on Diners Drive Ins and Dives. Ok Guy where was ALL the flavor you raved about in these two flagship sandwiches? We liked the way the grill was positioned in the middle of the diner so you could see the chef and his creations. The chef (owner) you were cute, hospitable, fun to watch and (at the risk of sounding arrogant, my slider kicks your sliders bootE)
Your waitress, Evelyn, was lovely and deserves a raise. We watched her huslte about 10 tables with a huge smile.

I've been making my slider for about a year and use purple beets as well. You can taste the beet by it's marinade and roasting brings out all the flavor.

I'd like to go back to try a traditional burger at Gatsby's. The manager with the glasses. Attitude has to go. It's a diner on a Saturday afternoon! Who would have thought to have had reservations! So rude mr.manager to say we needed one before even saying hello yet alone "welcome to Gatsby."
