California Burning

June 26, 2008: Wildfires sparked by lightning continued to rage across Napa, Solano, Butte, Mendocino and Monterey Counties, and threatened Big Sur in California. Thunderstorms moving through the area caused over 60 fires on Saturday, June 21st.

More On the Way?
Another storm system is due to hit California on Friday, and while it is predicted to drop rain that could dampen fires, it will also bring lightning strikes that may create new ones.

we have a small brush fire burning in Phoenix and the smoke is amazing, I can't even imagine what it must be like in California.
Geez, I hope you guys are not too seriously affected?
