Summer Tian served with Pork Loin Chops
I love French Tians. They're beautiful, simple and delicious.
My Tian consisted of a medley of squash (Patty Pans, Yellow crookneck, zucchini) from my Farmer's Market, added a layer of Tomatoes, Crimini Mushrooms, and topped with fresh bread crumbs, ground flax (shh), Pecorino Romano & shredded Grana Padana Cheeses. Each layer was drizzled with extra good Extra virgin olive oil. Finished with Fresh Basil, Lemon Thyme, Marinated Roasted Red Peppers & fresh ground pepper.
Covered & baked at 375 for 50 minutes. Taking the foil off the last 20 to brown.
So versatile. Use your favorite combination of vegetables.
The thin pork loin chops I simply let sit for awhile in Evoo, Sea salt, fresh ground pepper & lemon juice then grilled on high for about 3 minutes on each side.
Look at the golden crusty top. MMMMMM
That's That! :) Happy Friday!
